I started my career in 1971, illustrating kid's books published by Editora Globo. "Coleção Infantil" by Érico Veríssimo is one of the most important works I did during this period. At Editora Globo I also illustrated many other books for child and youth people, some of them published in several countries. These works took me to participate in exhibitions, both in Brazil and abroad.

Beyond illustrating books, I also created games published by newspapers such as Zero Hora and Diário Catarinense.

I wrote and illustrated kids stories for a passenger magazine circulated by Transbrasil airlines. Illustrations for slides, packing, T-shirts, comic books, TV cartoons, logo marks have been also subject of my work.
